A self-taught painter since 2006, Celina has a university degree in International Business but has always had an interest in the arts, which have been her abiding passion. A frequent visitor to art exhibitions, galleries and museums, she longed to own paintings like the ones exhibited, and to show them on the walls of her own home. So, instead of starting a private art collection, she decided to create her own work.
Although this activity took some years to come to fruition, it has come quite naturally, as though art were a dormant attitude in her, waiting for the right moment to be revealed. She did some painting before adulthood, basically reproducing paintings by major Impressionists, and learning, quite instinctively, to use color and palette. Now, finally, circumstances have allowed this skill to come to life, and she has been fully dedicated to painting ever since.
Her inspiration comes from photographs she takes; she always enjoyed photography, but started taking photos with a different purpose: that of recollecting images, illusions and colors to later transfer to the canvas. Encouraged by family and friends she now feels it is time to share her work with the wider public.
Born in Madrid (Spain), she has lived in Annecy (France) between 2010 and 2015. She has recently moved to Berlin (Germany) where inspiration is everywhere to be seen and waiting to be portrayed.
